Investment Alternatives For Your Fund
A donor advised fund allows you to advise us concerning how the fund is to be invested until you advise us which non-profits, ministries or churches you would like to receive grants or gifts from the fund. Your funds can be held as cash invested in money market funds or in investment pools managed by Southeastern Asset Management (Longleaf Funds), Diversified Trust Company or Reliant Investment Management. The investment pools offer various mixes of equities and fixed income securities. Donors wishing to establish a fund with more than $200,000 are invited to choose their own investment advisor if they wish.
- Cash Management Pool (Bank C.D.s and U.S. Government Agency notes with maturities of less than one-year)
- A short duration (1-3 years), fixed income pool managed by Reliant Investment Management
- Longleaf Pool (invested equally in the Partners Fund, Small-Cap Fund and the International Fund)
- Diversified Trust Company Conservative Pool (100% fixed income)
- Diversified Trust Company Balanced Pool (40% fixed income and 60% equity)
- Diversified Trust Company Growth Pool (100% equity)
