Brenda Brazley - Director of Donor Relations

After growing up in the heart of the inner city of Memphis, where she attended elementary, junior and senior high, Brenda traveled the world with her husband, who is now retired from the Army.  After living in Europe and numerous states in the country, she returned to Memphis as an employee of the Memphis City School System.  In 1998, Brenda joined Hope Christian Community Foundation.  She is responsible for day-to-day administrative duties and donor relations.  Brenda is a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church and is married to Mark, Sr. who teaches fifth grade at Springhill Elementary School.  She is also the mother of four:  Mark; Marcellous; Marcisha; Marshetta and grandmother of two:  Kai & Kaela Keith.

Michael Harris, CFA – President

Mike is a native Memphian who graduated from Memphis University School, received his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.  Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst and worked as a securities analyst and an investment banker for twenty years with Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. prior to joining Hope.   For several years, Mike has been active in urban ministries serving as a volunteer, tutor/teacher, board member, and through Second Presbyterian Church where he serves as an Elder.  Mike has been married to Pam since 1978. They are parents of two daughters, Emily and Lucy.

Chris Hill - Director of Donor Development

Chris joins Hope from Presbyterian Day School where he served as the Director of Religious Studies and Chaplain for the past five years. Chris is a native Memphian who graduated from Briarcrest Christian High School and then received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Auburn University. After college Chris studied under world renowned Christian author and speaker Josh McDowell and Tom Nelson, Senior Pastor of Denton Bible Church in Texas. Chris brings a diverse background in education, camping, resort activity planning, coaching and a passion for investing in people, especially future men, to Hope. Chris and his wife Kristen are members of Fellowship Memphis and have two daughters.

Shana South, CPA - Chief Financial Officer

Shana grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. After graduating from Jonesboro High School she went on to study Accounting and received her bachelor degree from Arkansas State University. She joins the Hope team from CCL Label, Inc. where she was an Accounting Manager. One interesting fact about Shana is that before she worked at CCL, she was employed by the accounting firm formerly known as Cannon Ivy and worked with the Hope Christian Community Foundation account in it's infancy stage.  She is married to Todd they have two young children, Courtney and Dalton. Shana and her family attend Colonial Hills Church in Southaven, MS.
